The King Car Cultural & Educational Foundation established the King Car Cultural & Art Center (KCCA) in 2008 with the mission of supporting domestic arts and literature, encouraging youth creativity, and providing a platform for emerging artists to express their talents, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts.
In 2023, KCCA unveiled newly designed exhibition spaces, offering a refined setting for contemporary art. The Nanjing and Chengde venues curate exhibitions with a "museum-inspired" approach, emphasizing the essence and meaning artists aim to convey. Focused on contemporary youth art, the exhibitions feature diverse media—including oil paintings, installations, video, and sculptures—offering fresh perspectives and dialogues on the environment. KCCA is dedicated to promoting Taiwanese contemporary art, fostering international exchanges, and providing local artists with a broader stage.
Beyond exhibitions, KCCA hosts a series of cultural salons, inviting professionals, writers, and creators from various fields to share insights on literature, art, photography, and design. These programs aim to deepen public engagement with the arts, inspire creativity, and explore the possibilities of artistic expression. KCCA strives to use the power of art to share the beauty of knowledge and Taiwan's vibrant cultural identity with the world.
