藝術家Steve Parker 運用廢棄的樂器、業餘合唱團、樂儀隊、蝙蝠群的都市棲息地、八哥鳥群與三輪車隊，討論控制系統、跨物種行為以及如今被遺忘的歷史。他曾獲得羅馬獎、Tito’s Prize、傅爾布萊特獎學金、波洛克-克拉斯納獎，以及美國國家藝術基金會的資助。Parker曾於2023年擔任美國作曲家論壇的麥克奈特駐訪作曲家。

Parker 的作品包括為人類、動物與機械所精心設計的社群儀式，還有以舊時監控工具為原型設計的聲音雕塑，以及為汽車、三輪車和自行車駕駛所創作的交響樂，以音樂宣洩濃烈的情緒。Parker曾以展覽或演出的形式亮相於羅馬美國學院、水晶橋美國藝術博物館、CUE 藝術基金會、德州Fusebox 藝術節、韓國光州媒體藝術節、林肯中心藝術節、洛杉磯愛樂 inSIGHT 計畫、瑞士琉森音樂節、馬薩諸塞州當代藝術博物館、德州McNay 藝術博物館、倫敦 Rich Mix、多倫多 SXSW 以及坦格伍德音樂節。身兼獨奏家與紐約當代音樂團隊 Ensemble Signal 的成員，Parker已首演超過 200 部新作。
